Starting Out

Well this is my first attempt at a blog. I hope you all enjoy chatting with us about the area and what it has to offer. I wanted a vehicle that we could get to know our readers and hear what you have to say. So this is it.

Today my kids went back to school so it is back to work for me! It is time to get another edition of The Baby Guide together. I have to decide what you would like to see this year! I have some pretty good ideas, so hopefully you will be pleased in June when you see the new one. How are you enjoying this year's magazine. If you have not received a copy please visit a local children's retailer and ask for a copy. Our latest family project is to try to go without plastic bottles. It is REALLY hard. I bought some stainless water bottles that we use a ton, but it is those unplanned wicked thirst moments that you just have to buy a bottle of water that I am having trouble with. And of course milk comes in plastic. I looked for cartons and could not find it. We are doing better, I hope to eliminate them from usage gradually. I do love the taste of water from those stainless containers, much better than plastic. They even make stainless sippy cups now, called safe sippy's. I know that the Spotted Goose carries them. HOW GREAT IS THAT! I found the water bottles for my older kids readily available anywhere.
